Joie Power, Ph.D., founder of Dreaming Earth Botanicals, LLC producers of therapeutic grade SomaTherapy Essential Oils and Aromatherapy products, teaches aromatherapy, natural healing programs at several Herbal schools in Western North Carolina. She also teaches smaller classes at her homestead/farm on aromatherapy, natural healing, plant/spirit medicine, sustainable medicinal herb growing and gathering, and conducts herbal walks. She also does custom blending and formulation and provides private consultation to individuals and natural products companies.

Joie Power, Ph.D. is a retired, board certified neuropsychologist. She has nearly twenty years of clinical experience in both in- and out-patient settings and has undertaken extensive studies in aromatherapy and other alternative healing practices. She is the founder of Dreaming Earth Botanicals, LLC, the company that produces SomaTherapy Essential Oils, and is well known as a speaker and teacher in the field of aromatherapy and alternative healing.

Dr. Power has presented many scientific papers at national conferences and her articles on Aromatherapy have appeared in World Health News. She currently practices as a Wellness Consultant & Aromatherapy Educator and conducts group retreats and individual sessions in dreamwork, creative realization & earth-centered spiritual quests. She is also teaching workshops on Aromatherapy and the use of Essential Oils utilizing Chinese Medicine's Five Phase Theory. Most workshops are aimed at Healing Arts Professionals but some entry level workshops are available.
